Jointly organised by Singapore Productivity Centre and China Productivity Center, to help Singapore Retail enterprises to acquire breakthrough innovative practices and the “know how” in leveraging Omni-channel and eCommerce to stay relevant in the rapid changing consumer buying behaviour and attain business sustainability.
The highlights of this trip included the understudy of the concept behind 5 to 6 successful Chinese retailers in the omni-channel and multi-channel, eCommerce and brand building, such as RT-Mart, Les Enphants and Alibaba Group.
There were three lectures by industry players, Salmon Limited, Alibaba Group and Tencent.
• Salmon Limited: eCommerce consumer market and the latest trends- Mr Chen Zhi Ming, President of Salmon Limited (Greater China), will share with delegates on the global eCommerce consumer market trends, and how brands can increase their presence online.
• Alibaba Group: Moving into eCommerce – How to create a selling brand through O2O platform – Alibaba Group (TBC), the world’s largest online retailer, will share with delegates on their business management software and network infrastructure, and how the platform has helped many SMEs successfully reach out to the masses.
• Tencent: will share with delegates how the company successfully integrated communication, information and entertainment, providing users with “a one-stop online life portal”. The integration of value-added Internet services, network advertising and eCommerce, offers a powerful platform for businesses to tap on.
